This program is part of a research study from California State University, Northridge, being conducted by Dr. Dena Herman, PhD, MPH, RD, and students Violet Jimenez and Noel Lawson.
This program is funded by Cooking Matters, Share Our Strength. Our goal is to increase knowledge and confidence in shopping for healthy foods on a budget, cooking skills, and healthy eating practices among parents and their children.
Who can participate?
Current Ventura County WIC clients and their children under the age of 5.
